Weiler Engineering Corporation (WEC) provided a redesign of the City of Punta Gorda’s Laishley Park. Laishley Park is a showcase part for the City which serves as the location of many
events, festivals and concerts. There were numerous issues with the park, the most important of which as pour drainage which resulted in the park becoming mud from rain and foot traffic during events. WEC evaluated the existing park and provided recommendations to the City. Detailed design plans were then provided.
